Spring……..
The weather has been against me, its been too cold and wet for so long that work on the canoe has been nonexistent, well not completely as I did manage to do some varnishing in the shed. Trouble with that was that it took about a week for the varnish to dry.
The sun was out…time to work on the canoe. First task was to remove the rotten part of the keel, then sand down the edging. Measure up a template for the replacement keel to be shaped on. Cut template on 1”thick MDF board.
